Liya Peng is a partner of Chengdu office of Global Law Office and specialized in capital markets, M&A, private equity and investment funds, particularly complex multi-party mergers or reorganizations with complicated background.

 

Liya Peng has advised multiple equity and debt offerings on both domestic and overseas capital markets, such as the IPO of Vanov Holdings Company Limited on the Main Board of the HKEX in 2022. Widely recognized by clients ranging from manufacturing to food, retail, AI, pharmaceutical, electronic, and new material industries, she served listed companies, state-owned and private enterprises in the field of project financing and issuance of financial bonds, including Tianqi Lithium Corp, EMei Shan Tourism, New Hope Group, and Sichuan Development Holding.

 

With a solid reputation for excellence and being able to successfully achieve the financial and business M&A objectives of her clients, including large scale state-owned enterprises and private corporates from home to abroad, she has conducted nearly 100 financing and M&A cases of renewable-energy power plants for central and regional government owned enterprises in recent 5 years. Her practice covers reorganization of pharmaceuticals industry, medical establishment, and elderly service institutions, for instance JinXin Medical Group, and investment of listed companies varying from food, cultural industry to electronic, new material enterprises in Sichuan.

Work Experience

Liya Peng joined Global Law Office in 2022. Prior to joining Global, she worked with JT&N, Grandway, Zhong Lun Law Firm in the areas of securities, M&A, and equity investment and financing.
