Evan Sun is our Shanghai-based partner.  Mr. Sun has extensive experience in foreign direct investment, general corporate, merger and acquisition, private equity fund formation and investment.

Mr. Sun regularly advises multinational companies on acquiring companies in China, private equity funds on China related investments and foreign invested enterprises on regulatory issues in relation to their operations in China.

His practice covers a variety of industries, including education, food, chemical, manufacturing, automobile, finance, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, internet, culture and entertainment.  Throughout his career, Mr. Sun has worked for many multinational company clients, such as United Technology Corporation, Associated British Foods, DSM, ZF etc.

Prior to joining us in 2017, Mr. Sun worked with leading international and domestic law firms in China for over a decade, including Zhong Lun Law Firm and Herbert Smith Freehills.
