GLO advises Sinocap on its acquisition of the worldwide intellectual property of Cavalia Horse Show
2016-03-18

The opening ceremony of Cavalia Horse Show on March 16 2016 attracted many celebrities including the prestigious Chinese actor Mr. Zhang Guoli. The show is expected to debut on April 28, 2016 at Chaoyang Park in Beijing.

Cavalia Horse Show was created by Mr. Norman Tardif-Latourelle, co-founder of Cirque Du Soleil and purchased earlier this year by Sinocap Capital. This is the first time a Chinese culture company purchases the worldwide intellectual properties of a major stage show from overseas. It is also the largest intellectual properties transaction in the Chinese culture sector so far.

Global Law Office acted as the lead counsel of Sinocap and provided a full range of legal services, including conducting the legal due diligence, designing the deal structure, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and assisting with the closing.
