On
June 15, 2016, LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional social network, held
an opening ceremony for its new office in Shanghai, China. The officials
of the Shanghai municipal government, corporate clients and business partners
of LinkedIn attended the ceremony. Jianwei (Jerry) Fang, a partner of Global
Law office and focusing on dispute resolution and regulatory compliance, was invited to
the opening ceremony.
Found
in 2002, LinkedIn is devoted to connecting the world's professionals to make
them more productive and successful and it is the world's largest professional
social network. LinkedIn has rapidly grown in recent years in terms of
number of users, activity level and revenue. It has more than 433 million members worldwide, more than 105 million monthly active users and
annual revenue of $3 billion.
LinkedIn
entered China by establishing its 26th offshore office in Beijing in
2014. With a high rate of development in the last two years, LinkedIn
China has already attracted more than 20 million members. With the
establishment of its Shanghai office in 2016, LinkedIn China has expanded
its strategic layout in the Chinese market.
As
