Sybil Xueting Yuan mainly works on cross-border dispute resolution and asset recovery. She represents foreign multinational corporations and Sino-foreign joint ventures in litigation and arbitration proceedings in China, and also assists Chinese companies in overseas litigation and arbitration, working closely with foreign counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Sybil has acted as lead counsel in a number of domestic and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters, as well as cases involving the cross-border recognition and enforcement of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards.

Sybil has substantial experience in disputes relating to construction and infrastructure projects, equity transfer disputes, corporate control disputes, and the coordination of parallel proceedings involving multiple jurisdictions.

Sybil is also familiar with legal matters involving Japanese-invested enterprises and regularly provides legal support to Japanese-invested enterprises.

Sybil Xueting Yuan joined Global Law Office in 2021. Prior to joining Global, Sybil Xueting Yuan worked with another well-known international law firm, where she focused on Japan-related legal matters.
