In particular, he is highly recognized by clients for providing practical advice and solution combining business acumen and legal insights, that bridge the culture difference and information ambiguity to help achieve business purposes.

Jerold Zheng advises a couple of Fortune 500 companies for regulatory compliance issues relating to their China operations, with focus on upstream business and industrial specific issues regarding new energy, lithium battery, mining and chemical engineering fields.

He helps MNC clients in dispute resolutions in China and represents leading Chinese enterprises in international arbitration and litigation to defend their interests on global market.

Before joining Global Law Office, Jerold Zheng was a partner at Merits & Tree (Shanghai) Law Office. Prior to that he was a counsel then partner at T&C Law Firm. He also has rich in-house experience procured from the seven years’ tenure with Albemarle Corporation as its first APAC Regional Counsel. In his early career, he was an associate at a Vault 100 US firm Troutman Pepper Locke LLP.
