Recently, Chambers and Partners announced the nominations for the Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards 2018. GLO has been shortlisted as follows:

• China & Hong Kong - PRC firms: Corporate & Finance
• China & Hong Kong - PRC firms: Client Service

Notably, Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards 2018 only set up three award categories for PRC law firms — “Corporate & Finance”, “Dispute Resolution” and “Client Service Award”.

Besides this nomination, Chambers Asia-Pacific 2018 guide has ranked 13 GLO practice areas, with 2 of them recognized as Band 1, and 25 GLO lawyers have been individually ranked. 

These awards honour the work of national and international law firms across the region on the basis of research for the recent edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific. They recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in key countries in the region. They also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. Winners will be announced at the evening cocktail reception held on Thursday, February 1 at Eaton House, Central, Hong Kong.
